Location: Beijing, China
The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC) is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an East Area Manager. Based in Shanghai, this role is crucial in driving the DCCC’s mission to enhance Danish-Chinese relations through strategic stakeholder management and impactful initiatives. You will oversee daily operations for the DCCC East Chapter while managing national events and projects across China, requiring occasional travel within the country.
At DCCC, we’re dedicated to fostering strong ties between Danish businesses and China, advocating for our members’ interests, and facilitating knowledge sharing and networking opportunities. With deep-rooted connections in both the Danish and Chinese business landscapes, we’re proud to be one of the leading Chambers of Commerce in China, supported by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
Our mission is clear: to equip emerging talents like yourself with the tools and experiences needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced business landscape. As an integral member of our team, you’ll have the autonomy to contribute ideas, drive initiatives, and make a tangible impact on our organization’s success.
Whether you’re a student or a recent graduate in Business Administration, International Trade, or Communication, we welcome individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets to apply. Proficiency in English and Chinese, at least one at a native level, is required.
Join our dedicated Secretariat team and spearhead events across North, East, and South China. Based in the Beijing office and overseen by the DCCC Secretary General, you will be gaining invaluable insights and experiences that will set you apart in the competitive job market.
Your Commitment
This is more than just an internship—it’s a journey of growth and discovery. We encourage interns to immerse themselves fully in the experience, committing to a duration of 6 to 12 months. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your skills, expand your network, and make meaningful contributions to our organization’s mission. While the role offers flexibility, occasional tight deadlines may arise, reflecting the real-world demands of our industry.
As the current regulations do not allow organisations to offer internship visas, you must either have a Chinese ID card, a Chinese Green Card, or be a foreign student with an existing X1 visa to be converted to an internship visa.
Compensation and Benefit
We believe in recognizing the value of your contributions. As an intern with DCCC, you’ll receive a monthly compensation of 2000 Rmb, along with opportunities for professional development and networking.
Ready to take the next step in your career journey? Apply now to become part of a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of Danish-Chinese business relations. Send your letter of motivation to Secretary General Anna Lin Yip on anna@dccc.com.cn
