DCCC East Area Manager

The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC) is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an East Area Manager. Based in Shanghai, this role is crucial in driving the DCCC’s mission to enhance Danish-Chinese relations through strategic stakeholder management and impactful initiatives. You will oversee daily operations for the DCCC East Chapter while managing national events and projects across China, requiring occasional travel within the country.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, international relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in management, particularly in stakeholder management and event planning.
  • Experience working in China or familiarity with the Chinese market is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a talent for building relationships.
  • A proactive, adaptable team player who is willing to take on diverse responsibilities and dive into the details to achieve results.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proven track record of managing budgets and timelines.
  • Open to all nationalities; fluency in English is required, with Danish or Chinese proficiency being a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the DCCC East China Chapter, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders and Chamber members, actively addressing their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and implement innovative initiatives that attract new members and enhance member engagement.
  • Organize and host impactful events, workshops, and networking opportunities that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the Chamber at external events and meetings, cultivating partnerships that further our mission.
  • Collaborate closely with the Secretary General to implement the Chamber’s strategic plan, ensuring proactive engagement across all initiatives.
