mr willis & mi is a Shanghai-based food and beverage group co-founded by John, Willis and Michelle. In this city that never sleeps, they have always looked for the best way to connect with their neighborhood. It started under the plane trees of Anfu Lu, where they honed their craft for great food & lifestyle. Today, they are the team behind mr willis, La Strada, Mi Thai, Apollo, Junn Izakaya, Something dining & bar, Mi Mian Hui Xin, and Somewhere kitchen - a collaboration since 2009 among three partners united by their love of great design, delicious food, travel, and of course, Shanghai. With Australian roots, Asian influences, and Danish-inspired touches, the group has been shaping Shanghai's dining scene for over 15 years - a true fusion of the partners' shared journey between Australia, Denmark, and their adopted home of Shanghai.
